Danville Little League Community:

2025 is here and with it the beginning of our league season!!  Majors and AAA teams have been formed and are already practicing at Sycamore and the Osage Batting Cages.  The AA draft happened on 1/15 with the teams being announced shortly.  We will hold our Single A Evaluation on Saturday January 25 at Sycamore field, and the draft will be Tuesday January 28.

I am very excited to announce that Danville Little League has entered into a Coaching and Player Training Partnership with Mario Iglesias of Headfirst Baseball!  Coach Mario is a longtime Coach and Parent Member with each of his sons having played for our league including his youngest who will play in the AA division this year.  

He will be holding the first Coach Training Workshop at the Headfirst facility on Friday January 24 at 6:30, and the first Player Development Clinic at Sycamore Field on Saturday January 25 for our AA through Majors Players.  Single A players will get pitcher training with Majors Manager and Board Member Chris Brown at the Headfirst facility in the month of February- dates coming soon. 

Our goal with this partnership is to develop the “Danville Way”- structuring a portion of every team practice with techniques that will translate to better fundamentals that will improve every player’s skill and the overall level of play in our league.
